I have been on more cruise than most adults.  My first cruise was when I was 3 1/2 and for my 4th Birthday all I wanted was to go on the Big Boat again.  I turned 4 on the Volendam when we went from Ft. Lauderdale to Vancouver.  We were on the “Big Boat” as I called it then for 21 days.  Thanks heavens my parents like to cruise .  I get to go with them a lot.  I am even being home schooled this semester so that I can travel and go on all these terrific cruises.  I love to dress up for formal nights.  At dinner, after the first night, our Dining Room Steward never offers me a “kid’s menu” again.  I tell them “I ‘m not a kid’s menu person” . That always seems to take them by surprise.  I eat steak most everynight.  I get to try a lot of different food too.  My parents always insist that I try something new at least once and I am glad that’s a rule.  There aren’t many things that I don’t like and if we hadn’t had that rule, I wouldn’t have tried anything new.
